Ein neuer Fall führt Dalgliesh nach Cornwall. Auf einer kleinen Insel in Privatbesitz, nahe der Küste, ist ein bizarrer Mord aufzuklären und zwar so schnell und diskret wie möglich. Combe Island has a violent history of piracy and cruelty, but is privately owned nowadays. When one of the visitors is bizarrly murdered, it's Dalgliesh task to solve the mystery quickly and discreetly.
