This is a book about Jesus of Nazareth. It is not a book about "story," nor about "narrative theology." Hans Frei was not a theologian of story or of narrative in any general way, and this book is neither about the narrative quality of our existence and the gospel's relation to that quality, nor about the narrative shape of the Scriptures as a whole and the call on us to place ourselves within that narrative.Rather, this is a book about the way in which Jesus of Nazareth's identity is rendered by the Gospels--largely the Synoptic Gospels, particularly the Gospel of Luke, and especially in the passion and resurrection sequences--by means of a certain kind of narrative.--from the Foreword by Mike Higton

He spent the majority of his career teaching at Yale Divinity School, where he authoredThe Identity of Jesus Christ andThe Eclipse of Biblical Narrative, numerous essays, and a vast collection of unpublished works, which have since been published posthumously:Types of Christian Theology, Theology and Narrative, and the forthcomingReading Faithfully: Writings from the Archives.

Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
Da E-Books nur für eine begrenzte Zeit – in der Regel 6 Monate – herunterladbar sind, sollten Sie stets eine Sicherheitskopie auf einem Dauerspeicher (Festplatte, USB-Stick oder CD) vorsehen. Auch ist die Menge der Downloads auf maximal 5 begrenzt.
