One day Mr and Mrs Brown packed up and left Mino their little cat behind them. After several weeks without food and water Mino grew thinner and thinner. Mino looked out of the window and saw Koko the sparrow. Koko understood in seeing the cat so lean that Mino was in great distress. Koko tapped and tapped the glass hard with his beak to draw attention. Un jour M. et Mme Brown ont tout emballé et ils sont partis en laissant Mino leur petit chat derrière eux. Après plusieurs semaines sans nourriture et sans eau Mino est devenu de plus en plus maigre. Mino regarda par la fenêtre et il vit Koko le moineau. Koko comprit en voyant le chat si maigre que Mino était en grande détresse. Koko picota et picota la vitre avec son bec pour attirer l'attention.
