Beschreibung

Sweet Potato Tops seem generally richer in protein content than Potato Tubers. The proximate composition of the Potato Tuber revealed that it is lower in dry matter when compared with Sweet Potato Tops. Also in this study, protein digestibility declined with age in growing birds. This could be attributed to decline in requirements for growth. The fibrousness of the tops is a factor that is limiting its utilisation by layers at all phases of our investigation.
