This project-book idea is selected to solve a vital problem in many countries, and that is the buried mines problem. This document describes the development of a PC-controlled vehicle for risk reduction in Humanitarian Demining. A PC-controlled vehicle was designed with certain physical size and weight constrains to have free mobility over areas believed to have high density of buried landmines. The vehicles objective is to detect the presence of buried mines via metal detector, and to determine the type of the buried mine by having analysis for the feedback wave forms given by the sensors, and to give precise locations for the buried mines via GPS.
