Beschreibung
This publication explores Disaster Risk Reduction Strategies and comparative role of Faith Based Organizations in the promotion of rural household food security. The comparison is made against the valuable work by the government Satellite Committees that offer similar services. Disasters are essentially the work of hazards that meet vulnerable conditions or status and further amplified by low or none existent capacity levels. This publication therefore ascertains the efforts, motivations and impacts of different stakeholders in Disaster Risk Reduction Strategies at community level through a Sustainable Livelihoods Approach.
