This book is basically for advanced level undergraduate engineering and science students. This book also helps the battery-scientists to understand the mechanism of polymer batteries. The polymer synthesis both chemically and electrochemically, doping, dedoping and their chareterzation are described elaborately. The charging -discharging behaviour and cyclic voltametry of rechageable battery of assemlled Zinc-polyaniline and Lithium-polyaniline cells enrich the hands-on trainee.

Author is an assistant Professor of Physics, Katwa College, Burdwan. He did his M.Sc. & Ph.D from Visva-Bharati, India. He is teaching physics for more than ten years. His main research interest is in fabrication and characterization of plastic batteries.
